2013 DPS School Board Elections

School Board Elections

The school board has a critical role in DLS' future.  This year there is an election for an At Large candidate and in Districts 2, 3, and 4. Please be informed and vote!

Which School Board District am I in?

This link lists the schools by school board district.  Please look up your home school to determine your school board district: This may help identify which district you reside in.  Note: Denver Language School is listed in District 3.  DLS is NOT your home school  so district 3 may not be your school district.

Amendment 66

Amendment 66 changes the way schools are funded in Colorado.

Review the presentation by Kate Pettersen from Great Education that was presented at the October PTA meeting:

She also provided this one page summary of the benefits of Amendment 66.

After the meeting, she also double-checked on funding in SB213/Amendment 66: it will bring charter schools up to the 100% equivalent of district funds.
